We are the operator, the curator, the guide network and the concierge behind the journey — and we live where you're going.
EastXperience designs and runs private journeys across Komodo, Flores, Waerebo, Banggai, Bandung, Java, Bali and Lombok. When you write to us, you're talking to the people who know the boat captains by name, walk the Waerebo trail in the rain, and check the park quotas themselves.

I started guiding more than ten years ago, long before EastXperience had a name. Most of what you'll find on this site began as a trip I walked, sailed or drove myself — the early climb up Padar, the 7 km trail to Waerebo, the tea roads above Bandung.
We've stayed deliberately small. When you write to us, you're talking to the team that sets the departure, briefs the skipper, and calls the village before you arrive. If a trip doesn't fit you, we'll say so — we'd rather be honest than sell you the wrong one.
